PROVIDING EMERGENCY SUPPORT AND ACCESS TO CULTURAL HEALTH CARE IN OUR COMMUNITY

The Fresno Center houses over 20 AmeriCorps members to provide critical services for our community. 2-1-1 emergency response, access to cultural care, PGE assistance, community clean up, rental assistance, and food assistance are all among services being provide.

The Fresno Center has partnered with United Way, Madera County, and Fresno County to implement the 211 program. Through this great service, members have been able to provide remote emergency information services to the Central Valley’s communities.

211 provides assistance in finding food, paying housing bills, and other essential mental health services.
