June Deployment
A newsletter from Jewish Family Services, the organization AmeriCorps California Emergency Response Corps collaborated with in their recent deployment to assist newcomers at the border. The deployment was different than the others as it was more of a humanitarian effort that a disaster response. Our Fresno team was called to action.

Service included shepherding families and children through the airport in San Diego to catch flights to their USA destinations, preparing food, and delivering food to temporary shelters and those in need. They also assisted with logistics. Their notoriety is well deserved. They are passionate, heart centered, and hard workers.
