WELFARE TO WORK MENTAL HEALTH EMPLOYABILITY SERVICES Program

The Fresno Center has contracted with the County of Fresno’s Department of Social Services (DSS) to provide mental health treatment to families who are recipients of California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Welfare-to-Work (WTW) benefits. The services are for clients with mild to moderate mental health symptoms living in Fresno County.

The goal of the program is to remove mental health barriers to employment. Our mental health services will help re-engage clients in school, employment, or approved WTW activities which will transition clients from welfare to work.

Anyone who is a recipient of the CalWORKs and Welfare-to-Work program, including eligible children, who have a need for mental health services can participate. Contact your job specialist to get started:
