The Fresno Center hosted an event on May 13th, 2023, to honor Hmong American Day and recognize the significant contributions of the Hmong people in the history of the United States, particularly their involvement in the Vietnam War. This occasion marked the 48th anniversary of the final airlift of Hmong and Lao veterans who fought during the Vietnam War.

Hmong American Day at The Fresno Center focused on celebrating Hmong history, showcasing Hmong arts and culture, presenting traditional Hmong foods, featuring cultural dances and performances, and including speeches from council members and community leaders.
