Reporting Hate Crimes
The Fresno Center’s “Stop the Hate” program hosted a workshop, “Take Action Workshop.”
With the rise of hate crimes against the AAPI community, especially during and after the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020, STH (stop the hate) programs were created within many organizations that offered education about hate crimes. The workshop focused on how to report a hate crime, who to report to, and when to report one. Thanks to the Fresno Police Department, California Department of Justice, the presenters, the business outreach, and our community for coming out.
