VACCINE CLINIC
THE FRESNO CENTER'S
TFC's Vaccine Event
Be a Hero!
May 20, 2022
The Fresno Center is on a mission to help vaccinate more children and elders in our community.
We want to keep everyone safe and protect our community from COVID-19.
We held an event called the Be a Hero Vaccine Clinic on May 18th & June 4th, where our community can become their own heroes by getting vaccinated!
From left to right, we have the Hero Alliance with Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Spider-man. Among our TFC staff were Pao Yang (President & CEO as Batman), Veronica Thao (Program Coordinator Supervisor of the Get Out The Vaccine as Wonder Woman), Thai Vang (Fresno HOPE Community Health Worker as Robin), Cheri Cruz (Public Relations & Special Projects Director as Wonder Woman), & Chai Vang (Safety and Security Coordinator as the Flash)
None of this would have happened without the support from our partners, the Disability Rights California, Vaccination 58 Neighborhood Partnership Project, COVID-19 Equity Project, Fresno HOPE, UCSF Fresno, California SCDD. With only 30% of our nation’s children vaccinated, we will continue to create family-friendly events that ease the stress and fear of vaccination.
