EMPOWERING EMPLOYMENT

The Better Career Access Program (BCAP) is an innovative approach to advancing equity-driven workforce practices by utilizing community voice, legal navigation support, and agency in its service model.  BCAP offers effective training, career pathways and placement, holistic job access and training opportunities, and an innovative legal and social services aid system for low-income workers of color in California, therefore creating viable pathways toward quality jobs, career advancement, and worker power. BCAP is equity focused and centers under-invested communities that reflect the demographics of the low-wage workforce, including race, ethnicity, educational background, immigration history, gender, sexual orientation, and/or justice system involvement.
