It goes beyond just legal status; it’s about being an active, engaged member of society. Citizenship involves participating in civic duties, understanding and exercising rights, and contributing to the common good.

Services provided under this program is free of charge to all individuals and funded by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL).

Program Benefits:

After obtaining US Citizenship, the following are available:
Right to Vote
Opportunity to run for Public Office
Obtain a US Passport, allowing for ease of travel to other countries
Unlimited stay abroad
Can petition a family member from abroad quicker
Can seek employment with government jobs
Receive public benefits
Protection from deportation
Obtain help from the US Embassy

Program Services:

Legal Consultations: We offer personalized legal consultations to individuals seeking guidance on their immigration status and available remedies.


Naturalization Application Assistance: Our team assists eligible individuals in completing and submitting applications for naturalization, guiding them through every step of the process.

Citizenship Application Support: We provide support and guidance to individuals applying for citizenship, ensuring they understand the requirements and procedures involved.

Green Card Renewal/Replacement: We assist individuals in the renewal or replacement process for their green cards, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.

Assistance with Lost/Stolen Citizenship Certificate: If a citizenship certificate is lost or stolen, we provide assistance in obtaining replacements and navigating the necessary procedures.

Adjustment of Status: Our program assists eligible individuals with the adjustment of their immigration status, helping them understand and navigate the relevant legal processes.

Low income:  Assistance with application processes for those who qualify.

Community Education: We are committed to educating and informing our community about various legal immigration topics and available resources for seeking assistance.
