The Fresno Center

The Fresno has Come together with AmeriCorps to tackle our nation’s most pressing challenges AmeriCorps is an opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to give their time and talent to strengthen communities. The Fresno Center houses over 20 AmeriCorps members to provide critical services for our community. 2-1-1 emergency response, access to cultural care, PGE assistance, community clean up, rental assistance, and food assistance are all among the services being provided.

The Fresno Center is proud to have hosted AmeriCorps LISTOS (2020) & AmeriCorps CERC (2021)

Access to Cultural Healthcare

We are dedicated to connecting to the South East Asian community residing in Fresno and Merced. Our goal is to equip them with the knowledge to access primary and preventative care, affordable healthcare programs and healthcare education.

We are looking for volunteers!

The Fresno Center, AmeriCorps Access to Healthcare Team will be hosting parks cleanup event on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. as part of President’s Day. President’s Day is a federal holiday that honors Washington and Lincoln’s Birthday. We encourage all Americans to volunteer their time to efforts that benefit their community.
This cleanup event will concentrate on cleaning Pilibos Soccer Park (park behind SF Supermarket) and the second location is TBA.
